Fort Lee 4th of July Static Display
Even though stormy weather brought the day to a premature end, I think everybody who participated in our static display had a great time and considered it well worth the effort. A big “Thank You” to Robert A. Lee for taking the lead on this and working hard to bring it together.
The crowd was overwhelmingly large and despite the heat and humidity, they hung in there until the skies opened up and let loose around 7pm.
Folks enjoyed the simulator and asked a zillion questions like, “How high, how fast, how far and how much.”
Here Robert Lee and Mike Lanning assist an eager student attempting to fly a Blade CX on the sim.
This photo and more of the display and people, shot by Joe Manno, are available here.
