April Fool Fun Fly - New Events, Halftime Show
Our first fun fly of the year is scheduled for March 31 with a rain date of April 1 and it promises to be interesting. New events this year include; Aero Golf, Georgia Air Show and a noontime demo designed to thrill.
During the noon program, you will get a chance to relax, eat lunch and watch some of the best pilots on the east coast. If you have a Warbird or Scale ship you want to show off, let us know ahead of time and we will get you a flying spot during halftime.
Can you whistle after eating a
saltine cracker? You should practice!
The Contest directors are Patrick Mooney and Joe Manno. We have spots open for Pit Safety Officer, TX Impound Officer, Scorekeepers and Chefs. Please let us know if you would like to fill one of these spots. The event will take place at the Fort Lee field and open flying will be allowed before and after the show.The number of flying events will be determined by the final number of contestants.
